It has recently been brought to my attention that the large plant distributor I’ve been supporting is facing serious allegations of unfair treatment toward its employees, and I have to be honest—this news has left me both heartbroken and deeply frustrated. I’ve invested a great deal of trust, time, and money into sourcing plants from this greenhouse, and hearing directly from employees about the conditions there has been upsetting and disillusioning.
Because of this, I cannot in good faith continue to support or sell their plants in my shop. It feels like a genuine betrayal, and the lack of care for both the employees and the plants themselves is unacceptable! NO BUSINESS SHOULD EVER OPERATE AT THE EXPENSE OF THOSE WHO KEEP IT RUNNING!
I want to assure everyone that I am actively searching for a new and reputable supplier whose values align with OURS. I truly appreciate your patience as I make this transition and please feel free to reach out at anytime with questions or concerns!
